* FATZ, of course, stands for From A to Zowie. It saves my fingers typing time. Now, onto the sports shorts…

…The Houston Rockets beat the Los Angeles Lakers 100-92 in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series. The article contains not one negative comment about officials by Phil Jackson. Is Coach Jackson (or “Philip”, as former player Isaiah Rider once called him) feeling ok? Wow, it’s not like him to make some type of complaint about the officials…

…I understand former (and possibly future) NFL quarterback Michael Vick received a visit from retired NFL coach Tony Dungy. Vick, as we know, is in prison on charges regarding dogfighting. Joel Segal, Vick’s agent, described the meeting as “private” and “positive”.

…There have been rumors that Brett Favre may un-retire yet again, this time with the Minnesota Vikings. Wow. Going to a heated rival (well, not really since it gets very cold in Minnesota and Wisconsin during the winter). We’ll have to wait to see what happens, but some speculation is that Favre’s not happy how his career ended in Green Bay.
