McCain versus Obama debate

Was McCain right to put things off and suspend his campaign? Obama’s attacks on him could end up backfiring. To me, McCain’s simply saying that right now we need to tend to the economy. Wow, a man who’s more interested in the country’s welfare than he is running for president. Sounds like the right man for the job.

Why is Nobama rushing and insisting McCain debate him? This Mississippi debate is said to focus on foreign policy, Obama’s glaring weak spot. Furthermore, why doesn’t McCain just jump in and do it? Wouldn’t he like to show the world how Obama is when he’s without a teleprompter? I mean, it would be like asking Gene Simmons of KISS to perform on stage without his makeup, wouldn’t it?

We have never delayed debates in a Presidential election. Even when the Civil War was waged we still had debates. It is a political stunt that is all. Obama does have foreign policy experience since he was on the Senate Foreign Relations committee, the Homeland Security committee, and the Veteran Affairs Committees.

Also Obama has lived in foreign countries as well. He is also someone who does not want to make more wars like McCain who has already said over and over again that there will be more wars. He has also told groups of young people that he will “call on them” to serve.

McCain is just too reckless to be President. In these dangerous times we can’t afford someone who thinks that serious thought and reflection is a sign of weakness. I just can’t trust him. I don’t want to be drafted to fight Iran, Russia or China. (He has threatened all three).
